Ken Rancifer

Ken Rancifer

Rancifer is in his second season as a graduate assistant with the program. In his role, he helps coordinate film of games and practice, assists with scouting reports, oversees a team of managers, and manages the analytic needs of the team.
 
After a four-year career with the Toreros from 2009 to 2013, Rancifer played professionally in Switzerland in 2013-14 for SAM Basket Massagno. He followed his pro career by coaching high school basketball at Bishop’s School in La Jolla, Calif. and mentor for alumni.
 
In his time as a Torero, Rancifer started 81 of his 122 games played, including all 34 as a senior in 2012-13 when he averaged 10.2 points on 43.5% shooting and grabbed 3.7 rebounds. He averaged 7.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in his career, and finished in USD’s top-10 for career three-pointers made and attempted.
 
Originally from Oakland and a product of El Cerrito High School (CA), he graduated from USD with a degree in sociology in 2013 and is on track to receive his master’s degree in leadership in May 2020.
