Biography
JUNIOR (2025-26 - Grand Canyon)
- In one season at GCU, played in 32 games, starting five times, averaging 6.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists, shooting 33.3% from beyond the arc
- Scored in double figures eight times, highlighted by a 17-point performance with five threes in the regular season finale vs. Fresno State on March 7
- Also knocked down four 3-pointers vs. San Jose State on Jan. 10
SOPHOMORE (2024-25 - Gonzaga)
- Appeared in all 34 games for the Bulldogs, making one start
- Averaged 4.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 17.5 minutes per game
- Shot 40.0% from the field, 34.2% from 3-point range and 79.2% from the free-throw line
- Scored a season-best 12 points vs. Portland on Jan. 2
- Logged a season-high 30 minutes against UCLA on Dec. 28
- Hit a season-high three 3s against Baylor on Nov. 4
- Grabbed six rebounds three times, including against San Diego on Jan. 8 and San Diego State on Nov. 18Â
FRESHMAN (2023-24 - Gonzaga)
- As a freshman, started the first 15 games for the Zags, appearing in all 35 games, averaging 23.5 minutes per game to help the team to a Sweet 16
- Shot 37.6% from the field while shooting 36.5% from behind the arc and 81.1% from the free-throw line
- Scored a season-high 15 points against Southern California on Dec. 2
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Notre Dame High School, helped the Knights to the CIF DI title by averaging 17.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals as a senior
- Was a four-star recruit according to ESPN and 247Sports, ranked as the No. 34 overall recruit in his class on ESPN 100
- Was a repeat selection to the Los Angeles Times All-Star Team and All-CIFSS Open Division Team
- As a junior, averaged 20.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 29 games, shooting 46% from the field and 38% from 3-point range
- In 2022, helped lead the Knights to their first Mission League title since 2001 and the program's first-ever CIF Southern Section Open Division playoff berth
- Averaged 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game as a freshman before COVID-19 shut down the rest of his team's season
- Chose to commit to Gonzaga over Arizona, Houston and UCLA
PERSONAL
- Grandfather, Dick Tinkham, was the co-founder of the American Basketball Association and the Indiana Pacers
- Learned to shoot from Billy Keller, one of the ABA's top 3-point and free-throw shooters
- During COVID, slept outside in a tent so he could continue going to gyms and training without putting his grandmother at a health risk.
- Grew a large social media following as his basketball profile elevated in high school
- Fun fact is that he plays the drums
