2016-17 SEASON AT USD:  Frank Ryder, a 6'10" center, appeared in 25 games for the Toreros... He averaged 4.1 points per game and 1.7 rebounds... He converted 47.5% from the field (38-80) and 73.0% from the free throw line (27-37)... He scored in double digits in three games with a season-high 16 points in the team's home win over UC Santa Barbara (12-11-16)... In that game he made 5-8 shots from the field and 6-7 free throws... He scored 11 points vs. Pacific (1-5-17) and 10 points at Gonzaga (1-26-17).

HIGH SCHOOL:  For his senior year he returned to Boulder, Colorado and played for Coach Patrick Burke at Fairview High School. Ryder averaged 21.0 points per game and 7.8 rebounds for Fairview this past season. Ryder played his sophomore and junior seasons at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida under Coach Mike Kelly. During his sophomore year at IMG he averaged 15.0 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. During his junior year he played in a limited number of games averaging 7 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. He transferred out after getting sick. With his club team, the Colorado Titans, he averaged 17.0 points per game and 12 rebounds while converting 64.0% from the floor.
