Biography
FRESHMAN (2025-26)
- Appeared in seven regattas in his debut season as a Torero
- Logged runner-up finishes in USD’s A boat of both the 1V8+ race and the 1V4+ race in his season debut at the Battleship Row Regatta (Nov. 2)
- Registered victories in San Diego’s A boats of the Open Eight and Frosh/Novice 8+ races during the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 9)
- Recorded wins in the No. 7 seat in the 2V8+ boat during both the San Diego Crew Classic (March 28-29) and the San Diego City Championship (April 11)
- Placed second in the 2V8+ boat during the WIRA Championships (April 25-26)
- Finished his sophomore campaign with a victory in the win in the 2V8+ boat at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 8-9)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Waterford High School
- Four-year Academic High Honor Roll winner
- Young Men’s Service League chapter President and peer award winner
- Student and Collegiate Ambassador to the school
- Was a two-year varsity lacrosse player and earned a second team all-region honor
PERSONAL
- Son of Kristin and Kenny Baber, born in San Francisco, Calif.
- Favorite rowing memory was crossing the finish line for the first time at the Head of the Charles Regatta
