Biography
FRESHMAN (2025-26)
- Appeared in eight races for the Toreros
- Made his collegiate debut with a third place finish in San Diego’s B boat of the 1V8+ race at the Battleship Row Regatta (Nov. 2)
- Started in the USD’s C Boat in the Open Eight and recorded a victory in USD’s A Boat of the Frosh/Novice 8+ race at the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 9)
- Logged a third place finish in the Novice 8+ finals at the San Diego Crew Classic (March 28-29)
- Recorded third place finishes in the 3V8+ at the San Diego City Championships (April 11) and the WIRA Championships (April 25-26)
- Wrapped up his freshman campaign with a runner-up finish in the Novice 4+ race fo the Dad Vail Regatta (May 8-9)
FALL 2025
- Helped USD to first place in the Frosh/Novice 8+ at the San Diego Fall Classic
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Riverview High school
- IB diploma
- Four-time state champion and a three-time Southeast Regional Champion
- Placed top 10 at Nationals
- Spent one year as team assistant captain and one as head captain
- Scholar Athlete honoree
PERSONAL
- Son of Todd and Elizabeth Vedder, born in Naples, Fla.
- His sister, Nora, competes in rowing at George Washington
- Says he chose USD as it's a growing program that also offered him the ability to be part of building a future class
