• Helped USD to first place in the Open Eight+ at the San Diego Fall Classic
• Also aided in a Torero first place finish in the Frosh/Novice 8+ at the San Diego Fall Classic

HIGH SCHOOL

• Attended West Seattle High School  
• Ran Cross Country and placed third at regionals
• 2023 Cross Country Most Spirited Award
• Honors include Seal of Biliteracy, National Honors Society, High Honors, AP Scholar with Distinction and was an Eagle Scout

PERSONAL

• Is considering a major in Biomedical Engineering
• Son of Elif and Chard Caron, born in Seattle, Wash.
• Says he chose USD because of how great the crew’s team spirit and coaching are, along with how beautiful the weather and surrounding nature is, combined with the honors college
