Biography

FRESHMAN (2025-26)
  • Appeared in six events for the Toreros 
  • Made his collegiate debut in the Collegiate Eights during the Head of the Charles (Oct. 17-19)
  • Logged a second and third place finishes in USD’s B boat in both the Frosh/Novice 8+ and Open Eight races, respectively, at the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 9) 
  • Helped USD place third in the Novice 8+ during the San Diego Crew Classic (March 28-29)
  • Wrapped up his freshman campaign with third place finishes in the 3V8+ during the San Diego City Championships (April 11) and the WIRA Championships (April 25-26)
HIGH SCHOOL
  • Earned first place in the CSSRA Scholastic Nationals in the Novice Men's 8+ 
  • Was 2024/2025 team captain as a senior
PERSONAL
  • Son of Dana Jerome and Carl DeLuca
  • Has a twin brother, Simon, who rows for the University of British Columbia, and has a sister named Lulu
