SOPHOMORE (2024-25)

• Competed in 10 races for the Toreros 
• Recorded a fourth-place finish in USD’s “B” boat of the Collegiate 8+ race during the Head of the American Regatta (Oct. 26)
• Followed that performance with a third-place finish in the program's “A” boat in the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 10)
• Recorded a win in the 1V8+ boat against Santa Clara in the Redwood Shores Invitational (March 1-2)
• Logged a first-place finish in the Toreros’ 1V8+ boat in the Saturday heat of the San Diego Crew Classic (March 29-30) before a fourth-place finish in the grand finals.
• Won a heat before a runner-finish in San Diego’s 1V8+ boat in the grand finals during the WIRA Championships (April 26-27)

• Rowed at Loyola Marymount for one year before transferring to USD

• Attended Archbishop Mitty 
• Academic All-American 
• Played football where he earned All-League First Team honors as a lineman and was a two-year varsity captain
• Logged lineman of the year honors 
• Also competed in track and field, where he qualified for state in discus
• Earned Principal's Honor Roll recognition

• Son of Lisa Hermosillo and Clifton Conover
• Has two sisters, Kya and Shyanne
• Favorite food is steak
• Loves to go to the beach in San Diego and also likes to work on his car and lift weights
