2025-26 Men's Rowing Roster
Biography
FRESHMAN (2025-26)
- Competed in five regattas in his first collegiate season
- Registered a second-place finish in his collegiate debut in San Diego’s A boat during the 1V8+ race at the Battleship Row Regatta (Nov. 2)
- Logged second and third-place finishes in USD’s B boat in both the Frosh/Novice 8+ and Open Eight races, respectively, at the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 9)
- Recorded third place finishes in the 3V8+ races during the San Diego Crew Classic (March 28-29) and the WIRA Championships (April 25-26)
- Wrapped up his freshman campaign with a runner-up finish in the Novice 4+ race after a couple wins in the trials and the semifinals at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 8-9)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Favorite rowing memory was getting second place at Southeast regionals in the pair his senior year
- Was the Triangle Rowing club senior year captain
- Earned a silver medal in the Southeast regionals
PERSONAL
- Son of Ed Barber and Nora Barber and has a sister named Claire
- Both parents played collegiate basketball, where his mother played at Hofstra University and his father played at RPI University
- His favorite musical band are the Avett Brothers
- Is an Eagle Scout
