Biography
JUNIOR (2024-25)
- Competed in 10 races for the Toreros
- Placed fourth out of 17 teams in USD’s “B” boat in the Collegiate 8+ race at the Head of the American Regatta (October 26)
- Also placed fourth out of 17 teams in USD’s “B” boat in the Open 8+ race of the San Diego Fall Classic (November 10)
- Logged wins in the 2V8+ races against Orange Coast College and UC Irvine in the Redwood Shores Invitational (March 1-2) as well as a win against UCLA in the California Challenge Cup (March 1)
- Recorded a second-place finish in the Toreros’ 2V8+ boat in the home waters in Mission Bay in the San Diego Crew Classic (March 29-30)
- Registered a Saturday heat win, followed by a second-place finish in the grand finals in USD’s 2V8+ boat during the WIRA Championships (April 26-27)
- Hamada also placed third in the 1V4+ race in the bow position during the WIRA Championships
SOPHOMORE (2023-24)
- Recorded six starts for the Toreros
- Finished fourth as a part of the 2nd Varsity Eight at the Western Sprints (May 18)
FRESHMAN (2022-2023)
- Competed in one race for the Toreros in the Novice Eight
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Kailua Kona, Hawaii
- Was named his team's 2018 Men's Canoe Paddling Most Improved, 2020 Men's Canoe Paddling MVP, and 2022 Men's Paddling Coach's Choice
