FRESHMAN (2024-25)

• Competed in nine regattas in his first collegiate season
• Made his collegiate debut in USD’s “B” boat during the Head of the American Regatta (Oct. 26)
• Recorded his first collegiate victory, as a part of the Freshman 4+ race during the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 10)
• Logged two wins in the 2V8+ boat against Orange Coast and UC Irvine in head-to-head matchups during the Redwood Shores Invitational (March 1-2)
• Registered a third win that weekend in the 2V8+ boat over UCLA in the California Challenge Cup (March 1)
• Placed second in the 2V8+ boat during the finals of the San Diego Crew Classic (March 29-30)
• Finished as runner-up with USD’s 2V8+ boat during the first of the WIRA Championships (April 26-27)
• Placed fourth while rowing in the bow position in the Toreros’ 2V8+ boat during the MPSF Championships (May 17-18)

HIGH SCHOOL 

• Attended Rye High School in Westchester County, N.Y.
• Finished second in a race at the U.S. Rowing National Championship in 2023-24
• Placed third in a Head of the Charles River Regatta race in 2023

• Son of Jacqueline and Charles Altamura, born in New York City
