FRESHMAN (2025-26)

• Appeared in six races for the Toreros 
• Helped USD place third in the B boat of the 1V8+ race in his collegiate debut at the Battleship Row Regatta (Nov. 2) 
• Registered runner-up finish in USD’s B boats in the Frosh/Novice 8+ and Frosh/novice 4+ at the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 9)
• Helped USD place third in the Novice 8+ during the San Diego Crew Classic (March 28-29)
• Wrapped up his freshman campaign with fourth place finish in the 1V4+ during the WIRA Championships (April 25-26) 

HIGH SCHOOL 

• Attended Vamdegrift High School
• Won the 2V8+ at the Central League Championships
• Young Men’s Service League Presidential Award winner, earned bronze level for completing 50-hour service award

PERSONAL 

• Son of Julie Haney and Tom Haney, born in Austin, Texas
• Chose USD because of the great team culture and attitude from the rowers 
• Raced mountain bikes for five years and loves to fish while his family owns a surf/wake boarding company
