SENIOR (2024-25)             

• Competed in six races for the Toreros
• Recorded a third-place finish in the “A” Boat of the Head of the American Regatta (Oct. 26) 
• Placed fourth out of 17 teams in USD’s “B” boat in the Open 8+ race of the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 10)
• Logged wins in the 2V8+ races against Orange Coast College and UC Irvine in the Redwood Shores Invitational (March 1-2) as well as a win against UCLA in the California Challenge Cup (March 1)

• Comes to USD after two years at Loyola Marymount University 

• Attended The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas
• Captained his rowing team in both his junior and senior seasons
• Won the Central Youth event

• "I chose USD because I wanted to stay in Southern California coming out of LMU, and because of the strong Finance program and alumni network, along with the rowing team’s culture."
• Born to David Gomez and Karla Medrano in Austin, Texas
• Favorite rowing memory is competing at the Head of the Charles regatta in Boston, Mass. in the men’s collegiate 8+
• Loves watching and rating movies
• Favorite food is sushi, particularly enjoys all-you-can-eat sushi
