FRESHMAN (2025-26)

• Appeared in nine races for the Toreros
• Made his collegiate debut with a runner-up finish in San Diego’s A boat in the 1V8+ at the Battleship Row Regatta (Nov. 2)
• Logged a start in three races at the San Diego Fall Classic (Nov. 9), highlighted by wins in USD’s A boats of the Frosh/Novice 8+ and Frosh/Novice 4+ races
• Helped USD place third in the Novice 8+ race as the starting bow at the San Diego Crew Classic (March 28-29)
• Recorded third place finishes in the 3V8+ at the San Diego City Championships (April 11) and the WIRA Championships (April 25-26)
• Finished his freshman campaign with a runner-up finish in the Novice 4+ race at the Dad Vail Regatta (May 8-9)

HIGH SCHOOL

• Attended nearby Mission Bay High School  
• Silver Medalist at the U.S. Youth Rowing Nationals in the 4+ boat and 15th at the Head of the Charles in the 8+ boat

PERSONAL

• Son of Julie Ripoll and Jean-Francois Vidon, born in Grasse, France
• Says he chose USD for its great Business program, combined with having a competitive Division I rowing team while still being the beautiful city he grew up in 
• Moved to the U.S. from France when he was four years old
• Favorite foods are sushi or a California burrito
