Prep/Club: Prepped at Iolani School where he was named team captain, ILH Player of the Year and a First Team All-State defender... His team finished 2nd in state his senior year with a 14-1 record... Also lettered in cross country at Iolani... Earned two Surf Cup Championships with the Honolulu Bulls club team.

Personal: Born on December 4, 1985 in Ann Arbor, Michigan... Also recruited by San Francisco, Fairfield and UC Irvine... Chose USD for its location, soccer team and academics.
