RS Senior (2012): Named All-WCC Honorable Mention... Started all 21 games he appeared in on the year... Tallied three assists, all coming in consecutive games during WCC play. Senior (2011): Redshirted due to injury.

Junior (2010): Started all 17 games he played in during his first campaign as a Torero... Recorded his only assist of the season against Loyola Marymount on October 27th.

Previous College: Spent the 2008 and 2009 seasons at Cal State Northridge... Named to the Big West All-Academic team as a sophomore.

High School: Attended Mater Dei High School... Lettered four years for head coach Martin Stringer... Named team MVP as a senior... Earned All-County honors as a junior and senior... Helped lead his team to the quarterfinals of CIF during his freshman and sophomore seasons and a first round appearance as a junior... Also competed with the ISC Strikers.

Personal: Born November 4, 1989 in Bellflower, Calif.... Son of Robert and Annalisa Chavez... Chose USD for the beautiful campus and great athletic facilities.
