SENIOR (2015): Appeared in all 18 matches, while startimg at defense in 17 of them... Had three shots (one on goal).
JUNIOR (2014): Appeared in 14 matches, making 10 starts at defense in his first year at USD... Was named WCC Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal against No. 1 UCLA (Sept. 26)... Attempted two shots and scored one goal.
PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Played at West Florida for two years where he played every minute in his freshman and sophomore year and was named to the All Gulf South Conference team both years... Was named All-South Region Second Team in his freshman year and First Team in his sophomore year... Helped team win Gulf South Conference in his sophomore year.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played for Hanover 96 Club team for four years in the highest youth league in Germany (Junioren Bundesliga)... Helped team earn third and fourth place finishes.
PERSONAL: Born January 8, 1993 in Bad Gandersheim, Germany to Jolanta and Gerd-Michael Zimmer... Chose USD for the soccer program, small class sizes, weather, and location... Was also recruited by Gonzaga, Penn State, UC Santa Barbara, UNLV, Santa Clara, Georgia Southern, and East Tennessee State... In his spare time enjoys producing music, playing tennis, watching movies, dancing, and going to the beach... Aspires to one day be the CEO of Nike.
