Attended Torrance High School in Torrance, CA, where she was team captain for three years
Holds the school record for single season hits (54) and RBI (36)
Named Best Offensive Player for sophomore and junior year
As a junior, was named All-Region High School Outfielder of the Year
Earned first team All-Conference honors and was named to the All-Area teams two times by the Daily Breeze
Led the team in batting average, hits, doubles, triples, RBI, and hit a .449 overall her junior year
Also played volleyball and helped Torrance win the CIF championship her junior year
Played for the Corona Angles under head coach Marty Tyson

Mother, Kim, played softball at LMU
Sister, Tana, played soccer at El Camino College and now plays for the University of Redlands
Uncle, Chad Qualls spent 13 years in Major League Baseball for nine organizations
