HIGH SCHOOL
  • Played for Karen Weitz at Centennial High School for three seasons and one season at Skyline High School in Utah
  • Named to the Las Vegas Sun's Super Seven team 
  • Was the second leading scorer during the 2023 5A Nevada State Championship game 
  • Helped lead her club team Mountain West Premier to the Nike Nationals Championship 
  • In her freshman year at Skyline High School she averaged 15 PPG and 12.4 rebounds per game as she was named Third-Team All-Utah

  • Parents are Natalie Williams and Noreen Defa
  • Plans to study English and minor in communications at USD
  • Ayla is a published writer and speaks French
  • Mother, Natalie played volleyball and basketball at UCLA before beginning an illustrious career playing professional basketball. Two-time WNBA Champion and a 2000 Olympic Gold Medal winner who played nine years between the Indiana Fever and Utah Starzz. She was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016 
  • Grandfather, Nathaniel Williams played collegiate basketball at Utah State and would go on to play nine seasons in the NBA for the Kings, Jazz and Warriors 
  • Uncle, Kendall Youngblood also played college basketball at Utah State
