Baylon joined the program ahead of the 2023-24 season and is in her first season with the Toreros. Baylon comes to San Diego following her time as an assistant coach at Stanislaus State where she spent two seasons.
A former player at the university, Baylon jumped right into coaching following her standout career, where she was a three-year team captain and set school records for most assists (138) and steals (82) in a single season.

Baylon was a CCAA Honorable Mention honoree as a senior and led the conference in steals per game and assist to turnover ratio. Baylon graduated from Stanislaus State in 2020 with a degree in communication studies.

As a coach, Baylon helped design practice game plans, oversaw opponent scouting and served an important role in recruiting and coordination of team travel.
