Maddie Washington

Maddie Washington joined the program for the 2021-22 season and is in her second season in San Diego, following a successful career as a player at Oregon State for four seasons. 

A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Washington dives into her first position in collegiate coaching after competing in Corvallis from 2016-20. Washington played in 115 games over her four seasons at OSU and played an active role in three NCAA Tournament appearances for the Beavers. The Beavers made the Sweet 16 in three of her four seasons and the Elite Eight in 2018. 

Washington played a key role as an active rebounder, averaging nearly four rebounds a game, while finding ways to score for the Beavers consistently in the paint. 

Washington was a decorated high school athlete out of Bishop Gorman High School, where she was a 2014-15 Gatorade Player of the Year nominee and 2015-16 USA Today First Team All-Nevada, among several honors.

Washington graduated with a degree in Digital Communication Arts and is pursuing her master's degree at USD.Â
