Ryan Yablonsky served as an assistant coach for the USD women's basketball program during the 2024-25 season.
During Ryan's time with the Torero program he worked with All-WCC selections Kylie Horstmeyer and Truitt Reilly and helped develop scouting reports for USD opponents.
Yablonsky joined the Toreros after a successful tenure as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Texas. From June of 2021 until his hiring at San Diego, Yablonsky was a graduate assistant for the Longhorns women's basketball program, where the team most recently went 33-5 and reached the Elite Eight of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
During his tenure with the Longhorns, Yablonsky was part of a staff that made three Elite Eight appearances, tallied two Big 12 tournament titles and one Big 12 regular season championship. In addition, Yablonsky has worked closely with several top players, including Charli Collier, the WNBA's first overall pick in the 2021 draft, as well 2024 Big 12 Player of the Year Madison Booker, 2023 Big 12 Sixth Woman of the Year DeYona Gaston and 2023 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year Rori Harmon.
Over his time at Texas, Yablonsky was heavily involved in opposition scouting, guard and post player development and leading the undergraduate student managers. In addition, Yablonsky assisted in recruiting efforts and helped recruit practice players for the program.
Yablonsky worked his way up to graduate assistant after serving as a student manager. In addition, Yablonsky also had a stint as a team attendant with the NBA G League's Austin Spurs during the 2019-20 season.
Yablonsky graduated from Texas with a Master of Education in 2023 and bachelor's degree in kinesiology and health in 2021.
