HIGH SCHOOL: Played basketball at Villa Park High School...a four-time first-team All-Century League selection...four-time All-CIF selection...as a senior, she averaged 15 points, four assists and five rebounds per game...as a senior she helped lead her team to a second place finish in the CIF playoffs...as a junior, she averaged 16 points, five assists and five rebounds per game en route to helping lead her team to the semi-final round of the CIF playoffs...named team[apos]s MVP all four years...as a sophomore she averaged 16 points, four assists, and five rebounds per game while helping her team reach the first round of the CIF playoffs...as a freshman, she led the team to a second round CIF playoff appearance and averaged 15 points, three assists, and four rebounds per game...she was named a scholar athlete all four years.

PERSONAL: Nicole Kelly Ballestero was born on March 17, 1992...she is the daughter of Carlos and Becky Ballestero...was also recruited by Colorado State, Long Beach State, Denver, Vanguard and UC San Diego...chose to attend USD because of the atmosphere at USD, the coaches, and the team.
