SOPHOMORE (2015-16)

- Helped lead USD to the Sweet 16 of the WNIT
- Helped lead the team to its fifth consecutive 20-win season
- Was team's third leading scorer with 10.5 ppg
- Averaged 4.8 rebounds-per-game, and had 20 total blocks
- Scored a season-high 19 points in a win against Portland (2/27/16)
- Scored 17 points against Saint Mary's (2/4/16), BYU (12/23/15), and Pacific (12/31/15)
- Scored 16 points in a wins over CSUN (11/17/15), and IUPUI (3/19/16)
- Scored 15 points against Northwestern (3/19/16)
FRESHMAN (2014-15)
- Played in 31 games at the forward position
- Helped lead USD to its fourth consecutive 20-win season, and fourth consecutive WNIT appearance
- Became a big presence for the Toreros at season's end, scoring 16 points in a heartbreaking loss to Saint Mary's (4/14/15), a game in which she came off the bench and hit six three-pointers over the final few minutes to pull USD back to within striking distance of grabbing a win
- Scored 11 points in a win against San Francisco (1/31/15)
- Recorded a career-high 11 rebounds in a win against Montana State (11/25/14)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Prepped at Coeur d' Alene High School
- As a senior, she averaged 16.5 ppg, 5.5 rebounds-per-game, shot 51.4% from the field and had 31 blocks
- As a senior, helped lead her team to the State Championship with a 23-2 overall record
- Was named the North Idaho League MVP, and the Bicentennial Female Athlete of the Year as a senior
- Was tabbed the Idaho State Player of the Year (5A)
- Was inducted into the North Idaho Hall of Fame
- As a junior, she averaged 13.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg, en route to a second-team All-Idaho Basketball Team selection, and a first-team All-State Tournament selection
- She also helped lead her team to a 21-6 overall record, and a second place finish in the state tournament as a junior
- As a sophomore, she averaged 10.3 ppg, and 5.0 rpg, en route to being named second-team All-Idaho Basketball Team, and a first-team All-State Tournament selection, while helping lead her team to a third place finish in the state tournament with a 20-3 overall record
- In her freshman season, she averaged 3.9 ppg and blocked a total of 13 shots, while helping lead her team to a second place finish in the state tournament with a 20-6 overall record
- She also lettered in volleyball and received All Inland Empire League 5A 1st Team honors as a junior
PERSONAL
- Sydney Lee Williams was born on November 25, 1995 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho
- She is the daughter of Michelle and Keith Williams
- She was recruited by Saint Mary's, Portland, Eastern Washington and Boise State
- She stated that she chose USD because its basketball program mirrors her values and work ethic when it comes to a team, the coaching staff believes in their girls and pushes them to be their best in the classroom and on the court
- Academics are also important to her and she knows that USD will be intellectually challenging, provide opportunities to grow as a person, and prepare her for the future
