  • Father, Paul was the gold medalist in the M8+ at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics; placed sixth at 1988 Seoul Olympics and is a member of the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame, Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame and Canadian Rowing Hall of Fame
  • Brother, Jon plays basketball for Thompson Rivers University
  • Cousin, Karen Clark competed in the W8+ for Team Canada at the 2004 Athens Olympics, placed third in W8+ and fourth in W2- at 2003 World Rowing Championships, placed second in W2- at 2002 World Rowing Championships and third in W2- at 2001 World Rowing Championships
  • Cousin, Amy Tutt was a Canadian Volleyball National Team member and played volleyball at the University of Washington
