Biography
SENIOR (2023-24)
- Competed in four events for the Toreros
- Logged a runner-up finish during the third 2V8+ race during the Cardinal Invite (March 16-17)
- Recorded two wins on Saturday with a runner-up finish Sunday in the 2V8+ races during the UCSD Invitational (April 20-21)
- Swept the two, 2V8+ races, finishing with respective times of 6:44.16 and 6:55.09 during the WIRA Championships (April 27-28)
- Won the 2V8+ race with a time of 6:51.39 during the WCC Championships (May 18)
JUNIOR (2022-2023)
- Competed in five races for the Toreros in the 1V8 and 1V4
SOPHOMORE (2021-2022)
- Competed in six events for the Toreros in the 2V8+
- Raced with the USD 2V8+ in the San Diego Crew ClassicÂ
FRESHMAN (2020-21)
- Competed in five races for the Toreros in the 2V8+
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Graduated from West Campus High School in 2020
- Rowed for River City Rowing Club (2015-2020)
- Selected team captain 2018-2020
- Placed second in singles at Head of the American (2019)
- Finished fifth twice in the Southwest Region Youth Championship grand final pair event (2018, 2019)
- Placed first in women’s pair at Head of the Lagoon (2017)
- Four-year Honor Roll student and selected Best Art Student in school’s art department
- Appointed to senior class’ Leadership Division as Rally Coordinator

- Born in Sacramento, CA to Doug and Donna Dowson
- Has one younger sister, Hunter
- Mother, Donna was a diver at Virginia Tech
- Enjoys art such as painting, drawing and digital artwork and reading in her free time
- Yearly participant in the Port of West Sacramento clean up
- Anticipating a double major in psychology and visual arts
- Aspires to become a mental health therapist or graphic designer/animator
