All-WCC Selection (2003 & 2002)
Junior in 2003: Played in all 21 matches, including 17 starts, helping USD reach the NCAA Tournament... Earned All-WCC Honorable Mention honors... Posted three shots and scored a goal against #8 Pepperdine (10-17)... Recorded assists in wins over #12 Arizona State (10-5) and #20 Loyola Marymount (10-19)... Third on the team with a total of 28 shots.
Sophomore in 2002: Played and started in all 21 games helping the Toreros reach the NCAA Tournament ... Named second team All-West Coast Conference... Honored as a San Diego Hall of Champions Player of the Month (November)... Named Torero Offensive Player of the Year... Roby[apos]s nine total assists on the season was a USD team-high and ranked among WCC leaders... Led San Diego with 10 points, four goals and two assists during league play... Accounted for all the scoring in a 2-0 USD victory over San Francisco (10-18)... Netted a pair of goals and gave out an assist during a 4-0 win over Gonzaga (11-3)... Passed out a pair of assists in an early season win over Cal State Northridge, blasted nine shots at Northridge which was just two shots shy of tying a USD single game record... Totaled 39 shots in 2002, 28 of which were on goal (team-high).
Freshman in 2001: Played in 19 of USD[apos]s 20 regular season games... Scored twice on the year including the game-winning goal against Cal Poly SLO (9-2-01)... Also scored and gave out an assist during a 3-2 comeback win over Pepperdine (10-26-01)... Totaled six points on the season with two assists... Recorded 27 shots, 4th best for any Torero in 2001.
Prep: Sat out with an injury as a senior after outstanding junior and sophomore seasons with the Poway Titans... Was named team captain and MVP as a junior... Selected 1st team all-Palomar League and CIF as a junior and sophomore... Helped Poway win the Palomar League Championship in her junior season... As a sophomore Roby was named team MVP and help Poway finish second in the Palomar League... With the San Diego Surf, Roby won a national championship (2000 & 2002) and reached the national finals (1999 & 2001).
Personal: Born on February 2, 1983 in Naples, Italy... Daughter of Molly and Brian Roby... Also lettered in cross-country at Poway High.
