Sean Williams recently completed his first season with San Diego women's soccer program, following his hire in August of 2023.
Williams coaches with the DMCV Sharks and has been with the organization since 2018. During that time, Williams has coached several teams across the ECNL and ECRL and is currently in charge of three ECRL programs.
While working with ECNL girls, Williams oversaw coaching responsibilities for goalkeepers, while overseeing full teams at the ECRL level. Williams also oversaw a Surf Cup title during his tenure.
Prior to his coaching career, Williams spent two seasons as a member of former USL League Two side San Diego Zest FC, where he helped them reach the playoffs.
In his collegiate career, Williams helped lead Point Loma Nazarene to the NCAA Tournament during his senior year for the first time in program history. Williams was also named a PacWest All-Academic honoree.
Williams graduated from PLNU with a degree in kinesiology in 2018 and earned his master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine.
