SENIOR (2010): Took a medical redshirt at USD.

JUNIOR (2009): Played in 11 matches and started in all 11 of those matches as a defender for the Toreros...helped the team post an overall GAA of 1.21.. helped the team finish second in the prestigious West Coast Conference and earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament... helped the Torero defense record seven shutouts.

SOPHOMORE (2008): Played in nine matches with four starts as a mainstay in the Toreros backfield...helped the team receive a national ranking as high as No. 11... helped the team advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament...helped the Toreros defense bolster a GAA of .075.

FRESHMAN (2007): Played in 16 games with 10 starts...tallied two assists on the season in games against Cal State Bakersfield (10/05/07) and Cal State Fullerton (11/04/07)...cracked into the USD starting line-up midway through the season as a defender and helped the team bolster a 0.62 goals-against-average.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in soccer playing for Tom Ginnichio at Acalanes High School...as a sophomore, she helped her team reach the North Coast Section Semi Finals round...was named All-DFAL three seasons...was a member of the ODP team from 2003-06...played club soccer for the Pleasanton Rage club team...in 2005-06 she helped lead her team to the State Cup finals...was ranked as a Soccerbuzz top-150 recruit.

PERSONAL: Erika Wesly was born on February 2, 1989 in Oakland, Calif....is the daughter of Joni and Daryl Wesley...was heavily recruited by UC Irvine, USC, San Francisco and Maryland...chose to attend USD because of the chemistry of the soccer team, the area, the academic opportunities and because of the reputation of the soccer program.
