• Started the last five games of the season, including 90 minutes against Weber State on Nov. 2 in the Big Sky Tournament opener

• Four-year varsity letter winner for Pleasant Grove as a forward and midfielder
• Three-time All-Delta League selection, earning second-team honors as a sophomore and junior as well as first-team laurels as a senior
• Scored eight goals and added three assists in 10 matches as a senior
• Added seven goals and nine assists as a junior in 24 contests
• Played her club soccer for San Juan SC

• Daughter of Lorena and John Bessemer, has three siblings: Charissa, Johnny and Matthew
• On why she chose USD: "It was my dream school. I remember coming down to San Diego for tournaments and always seeing the 'huge school on the hill', thinking how hard it must be to get there. When the opportunity presented itself, I couldn’t turn it down."
• Enjoys going to San Diego's beaches, farmers markets, shopping and barbecuing
• Fun fact is that she can hand knit
