Biography
Natalie Vinti enters her first season with the University of San Diego women[apos]s soccer program, and will help head coach Ada Greenwood with all aspects of the game.
Vinti, a 2009 graduate of USD, comes back to her alma mater after playing the 2010 season with the Mexican National team. While with the Mexican National team, she helped knock off the US women[apos]s team in World Cup qualifying and she helped the Mexican National team qualify for the World Cup.
A member of the Torero soccer program from 2006-2009, she helped the Toreros make it to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including reaching the second round in her junior season. She took home three All-WCC distinctions as the starting center back for the Toreros, highlighted by a first-team pick as a senior. In her senior season, Vinti was named to the NSCAA All-West team in addition to a first-team All-WCC honor. In her sophomore season, she helped lead the Toreros to one of the most memorable seasons in program history, as the USD posted the best record in program history at 15-3-3 and reached a program-best No. 9 national ranking.
