  • He recorded three saves in 56.2 total innings pitched (third most among USD players in 2024) while notching 49 strikeouts 
  • Was one of two Toreros in 2024 to throw eight total innings in a single game without allowing a run (April 21 at Pepperdine)
    •  Smith also earned three hits and two walks from the plate in that same game
  • On February 25, 2024 against Arizona, he recorded a go-ahead grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning, before making his way to the mound from left field to earn a four-out save

  • Recorded a .971 fielding percentage on 35 attempts
  • Went 4-2 on the mound, posting USD’s fourth-best ERA (3.49)
  • Struck out 47 batters across 38.2 innings, against only 11 walks

  • Attended UC San Diego for his freshman season (2022) as a two-way player

  • Recorded 10 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games, including a team-best five RBI day against Seattle U (Feb. 19), also recorded a seven game hitting streak and led the team with a 32-game streak of reaching base

  • Tallied 20 strikeouts in 17.0 innings pitched with just five walks
