(Laguna Niguel, CA) - The USD men's golf team turned in a final day team score of 301 on their way to finishing sixth at the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational. USD finished the two-day, three-round event with team scores of 302-317-301 for a total of 920. San Jose State (892) won the event and was followed by host UC Irvine (902) and UCLA "B" team (902). USD's Jimmy Harris (El Cajon, CA; Valhalla HS) shot a final round score of 1-under 71 to move up to a 7th place finish with a final score of 222. Torero sophomore Brian Phan (Carlsbad, CA; Torrey Pines HS) shot a 73 today and finished in the Top-20 individually at 18th place (228). SJSU's David Kim won medalist honors with a 214 (70-72-72).
