TOREROS PLACE 10TH AT STEVINSON RANCH INVITATIONAL

(STEVINSON, CALIF.) - The USD men's golf team placed 10th at the 2005 Colorado Stevinson Ranch Invitational. The Toreros shot a final round team score of 316 to finish at 918 for the three-round tourney. Kansas won the team event with a team score of 872 over the 7,206 yards, par-72 layout. Kevin Ward of Kansas won medalist honors with an 8-under 208. USD's Luke Antonelli shot a final round score of 77 to finish at 226, good for a tie for 21st.

USD's Antonelli was followed by teammates Jimmy Harris (T28th, 228; 74-74-80), Mike Shelly (T36th, 231; 77-74-80), Brian Phan (T43rd, 233; 77-77-79) and Garrett Lipus (79th, 250; 83-81-86).
