(Arroyo Grande, CA) - After two rounds today at Cypress Ridge Golf Course (6,761 yards; par 72), the USD men's golf team finds itself in 1st place in the fifteen team Fidelity National Title Intercollegiate being hosted by Cal Poly. The Toreros sit at 575 after team rounds of 282 and 293. USD is five shots ahead of Weber State and Saint Mary's with one round to go. Junior Jimmy Harris currently sits tied for 9th at 144 (73-71). Sophomore Brian Phan (Torrey Pines HS) shot a 66 in the first round before stuggling to an 82 in the 2nd round.
