(Arroyo Grande, CA) - The University of San Diego Golf Team shot a final round 299 on Friday to win the Fidelity National Title Intercollegiate hosted by Cal Poly. The Toreros finished the tournament tied with St. Mary's at 874, earning the team championship on the fifth-man tiebreaker, with Bucky Coe's final round 76 bettering the Gaels' fifth man Chadd Cocco's 78. The individual title was determined with a sudden-death playoff, with Cal State Bakersfield's Greg Lopez beating Drake's Matt Brooks on the third playoff hole after they each finished with a 6-under 210. All five San Diego golfers played well in the victory with Jimmy Harris (73-71-76-220) and Luke Antonelli (72-76-72-220) finishing tied for 14th. Right behind them were Garrett Lipus (71-74-76-221) in 16th place, Bucky Coe (74-72-76-222) in 19th place and Brian Phan (66-82-75-223) in 21st place.
