USD Women's cross country team completed their season at Blue Lake Park in Portland Oregon.

The USD female squad was led once again by first-year Mariana Monasi (134th, 24:06). Mariana ran the 2nd fastest 6km time of season.

"This was a great time given the muddy conditions of the course," head coach Will Guarino said.

Other USD runners who competed were: Senior, Kristen Jackson (167th, 25:12), Senior, Christie Osborne (184th, 26:21), Julie Shultz (189th, 26:36), Sarah Coxhead (190th, 26:40), Riley Porter (194th 27:48).

"This is a team that was exposed to the fastest cross country region in the NCAA. I am pleased with the lessons that they learned which will enable them to further build as a young team," Guarino said.

San Diego wraps up their season and will begin off season training for 2007-2008.
