Freshman Guard Devin Ginty

On his thoughts about Courtney Lee's play...
"He's a great player and Western Kentucky is a very good team. They played pretty solid all game long and he's a tough player to stop. We did what we could, but in that situation, we couldn't stop him."

On how long will the disappointment last from losing tonight...
"We will definitely use this experience to get better next year. The beauty about this season is that we don't have any seniors so we will have the same team coming back. Hopefully, we will have a chance to go further in the tournament next year."

Sophomore Guard De'Jon Jackson

On the fact that all his teammates are coming back next year...
"I think that having this loss and coming this far makes us hungrier. We have to take this, build on it, and become hungrier. We can't get big headed, thinking that since we got here this year, we will get back again. We have to get back to work and try to come back here next year."

On how much his teammate, Brandon Johnson means to their program...
"He's unbelievable. He does everything for us from scoring, assists, steals, defense, locker room talk, and leading us. I think some day he will be in the league, hopefully, maybe next year or some other time. He does everything for us and that's why I feel he is taking it so hard. This whole season he had us on his back and has been letting us ride and that's why he is taking it so hard."

Freshman Guard Trumaine Johnson

On the fans that came to support to team and his view of how his team represented San Diego... "They like to follow us and we have a great community out there in San Diego. The dance team, fans, parents and everything really helps us and I thank them for their support tonight."

On his experience being in the NCAA tournament...
"This was a great experience. All of us freshman had a chance to be in the NCAA tournament. Hopefully, we can get back here next year."

On the fact that no one is leaving...
"It's going to help us a lot. We are getting good, so hopefully we can pick up next year where we ended this year and keep it rolling."

Freshman Forward Rob Jones

On what it shows about his team when they made a comeback...
"It just shows our heart and character. We tried to comeback and get back in this game. We knew we could win it, but we didn't play up to our ability in the first half and it really showed in the course of the game. We had to fight back and it was just a tough game."

On winning a game in the NCAA tournament and having all your teammates coming back next year...
"We've come so far from the beginning of the year. We've had our trials and difficulties, but we made a run at the end of the season and it just shows that we can be good and I expect us to have a great year next year."

On the fact that no one is leaving the team, and how it will transfer into next year...
"We had a great year to spend with each other to grow with a new coach. Next year, we will only have more room to grow. We have more recruits coming in, so we can only get better."

On his experience being in the tournament...
"It has been great so far. I was glad to get here but wish that we could have went further into the tournament. But, we will be ready next year."

On how well their team represented their school and city in the NCAA Tournament... "I felt like we represented our school very well. We tried our hardest and showed our heart. We had a lot of San Diego fans behind us and we thank them. We are definitely looking forward to next year."
