SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego baseball team is proud to present their first Annual Infield Camp. This camp is strictly for players who want to improve their infield skills. USD coaches as well as professional baseball players will give first hand instruction on drills and techniques specific to each of the four infield positions.

The camp will begin on Saturday January 10th and run through Sunday January 11th at USD's Cunningham Stadium. Ages for the camp are 6-18 years old. Players between the games of 6-13 will go from 10 a.m. until noon on both days, and players between the ages 14-18 will go from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The cost for the camp is $100 for both days.

Players will learn all specific techniques and drills for their infield position including:

First Base - Approach to the base, footwork, picks & positioning
Middle Infield - Backhands, double plays & relays
Third Base - Bunt plays, routine/extreme ground balls & slow roller
