SAN DIEGO, Calif. - As the USD Women's Rowing team heads into winter break after a very successful fall racing season, the Toreros have also secured the most talented incoming freshmen class in the history of the program. In the fall of 2014, the Toreros will have 17 freshmen joining the team from across the country with a wealth of rowing and athletic experience.
Three of our recruits were in the Junior 8+ that placed third in the nation at the U.S. Club National Championship in New Jersey this past summer, while two others rowed with the elite U.S. High Performance rowing camps.
In addition to these great accomplishments, our 2018 class has competed in rowing, basketball, volleyball, swimming, and track at the regional and international levels, placing in the grand finals and medaling against top competition.
