NCAA Regionals Day One Scores

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The University of San Diego golf team finished day one of the NCAA Regionals tied for 11th place after shooting a 299 (+11). Joe Carlson and Alex Chiarella turned in the top individual scores for the Toreros with a 72 (E, T-35th).
Grant Forrest finished tied for 60th after shooting a 76 (+4), and Mathias Dahl and Taylor Schmidt both shot a 79 (+7).
After the first day of competition, No. 4 seed North Florida is in the lead with a 16-under 288. No. 1 seed Washington is in second after shooting a 12-under. North Florida's MJ Maguire leads all individuals after shooting a 65 (-7).
The Toreros will be paired with Oregon State and Iowa for round two on Friday. The first Torero will tee off at 5:50 a.m. on hole #10.
