Conyers, Judish Dominate the Prospect League

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego baseball players continue to have success in their summer leagues. Left-handed pitcher Troy Conyers, of the 14th-ranked Danville Dans, and right-handed pitcher Wes Judish, of the Hannibal Cavemen, were both selected as All-Stars for the Prospect League.

Conyers was selected to start the All-Star gane for the West team, while Judish was selected as the closer for the game. To this point in the summer season, both pitchers have been outstanding. Conyers, who was tabbed the MVP of the West Coast Conference Tournament this past season, is currently 5-0 in seven appearances, with an impressive 1.00 ERA, and he has struck out 53 batters, while only issuing 16 walks in 36.0 innings of work.

Judish on the other hand, has been impressive in the back end of the rotation, making 12 appearances, and recording six saves in 23.2 innings of work. Judish has also managed to just allow one unearned run to cross the plate, to bolster a 0.00 ERA. Judish has struck out 33 batters, while only issuing three walks to date.
