March 19, 2017 Final ASU Thunderbird 2017 
TEMPE, AZ -- The USD Toreros turned in a solid final round at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational as they totaled 288 to finish in 15th overall at 891. Senior Nick Baines carded one of the lower rounds today as he fired a 67 to finish at 214 overall (T37, 71-76-67). Host ASU won the team event at 811, twenty strokes better than runner-up UNLV. Cal's Collin Morikawa won medalist honors at 200 (65-66-69). He beat out ASU's Chun An Yu and UNLV's Shintaro Ben by one stroke.
Players rounding out USD team scoring included Dalton Hankamer (T68 at 225, 78-75-72), David Ricciardell (76th at 227, 77-79-71), Camilo Mexsen (T77 at 228, 77-72-79) and Nathan Zhao (81st at 237, 76-83-78). Regan Kilpatrick, playing as an individual this week, tied for 54th overall at 219 (73-72-74).
