Toreros finish play at Oregon Duck Invitational

Eugene, Oregon -- The USD Toreros placed 14th at the 2017 Oregon Duck Invitational being played in Eugene, Oregon at the Eugene Country Club (par 71, yardage 7,020). USD shot a final round team score of 304 to finish at 900. Host Oregon won the team title with their 8-under par total of 844, while Oregon's Sulman Raza won medalist honors with his 8-under par total of 205 (67-64-74).

The Toreros were paced by Daniel Lopez who finished in a tie for 29th at 221 (72-76-73). He was followed by Dalton Hankamer (t-37 at 222, 75-69-78), David Ricciardelli (t-56 at 226, 76-73-77), Camilo Mexsen (t-76 at 231, 77-78-76) and Nick Baines (81st at 239, 79-79-81).

The Toreros are now off until April 20-22 when they compete in the WCC Championships in Provo, Utah at the Riverside Country Club.
