SAN DIEGO – San Diego will celebrate Homecoming and look to remain unbeaten in conference play when it takes on Dayton on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT.

The Toreros (3-2, 1-0 PFL) and Flyers (3-3, 2-1 PFL) have combined to win at least a share of the Pioneer Football League championship in 11 of the past 13 seasons.

USD has won 31 straight home PFL games, dating back to Oct. 9, 2010, in a 21-20 loss against Dayton. USD has won 23 straight PFL games dating back to Oct. 10, 2015, in a 13-12 loss at Dayton.

• Six different Toreros found the end zone on Saturday, when San Diego dominated Morehead State in a 51-34 victory at Jayne Stadium in Morehead, Ky.

Anthony Lawrence spread the wealth, throwing five touchdown passes to five different USD receivers.

Cooper Hagmaier,
Emilio Martinez and
Dalton Kincaid each had a touchdown grab as Lawrence racked up 354 passing yards on the day.

• Lawrence finished the day 19 of 30 for 354 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Toreros (3-2, 2-0 PFL) to their 23rd consecutive PFL win. Lawrence surpassed 10,000 career passing yards in the process.

• The Torero backfield also had a productive day with two touchdowns on the ground. In addition to a 74-yard touchdown reception,
Emilio Martinez punched one in from 10 yards out and finished the day with 13 carries and 160 all-purpose yards.
Terrence Smith also found the end zone on a 3-yard rush for his fourth touchdown of the season.

Zach Nelson made big plays to get the Toreros in scoring position, recording three catches for 95 yards and
Michael Bandy finished the day with six catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.

• The special teams unit had a strong day, wreaking havoc on the Eagles kicking game.
Daniel Cooney blocked a Morehead State field goal to end the first half and
Zeke Downs disrupted an extra point attempt midway through the third quarter.

Aaron Laut,
Connor Spencer and the defensive line put pressure on Eagles quarterback Lawson Page all afternoon, including three sacks and four hurries.
Jack Michael and
Kama Kamaka both recorded a team-high 11 tackles and two solo efforts for the Torero defense, while
Daniel Tolbert added three solo tackles, including one tackle for loss and was credited with two pass breakups.Â

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST DAYTON
• USD is 9-16 all-time against the Flyers but have won three of the past four meetings, including last season when the Toreros won, 23-7. The Toreros have outscored the Eagles by at least 21 points in each of the past three meetings.

• USD has won 31 consecutive home PFL games with its last loss coming on Oct. 9, 2010, in a 21-20 defeat against the Flyers. The Toreros have won 22 straight PFL games, dating back to a, 13-12, loss at Dayton on Oct. 10, 2015.

 Anthony Lawrence has continued his consistent play at quarterback this season. The four-year starter is 114-of-182 for 1,605 yards with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions on the season. He has also rushed for a pair of touchdowns.

Dalton Kincaid, is quickly establishing himself as a red zone threat. The 6-foot-5-inch freshman from Las Vegas, Nevada, is second among Toreros with three receiving touchdowns, all within 10-yards of the end zone.Â

Kama Kamaka leads the Toreros with 37 tackles, while KJ Mahoney and
Daniel Tolbert have contributed 20 each. Kamaka is third on the team with 4.5 tackles for loss, accounting for 18 yards.
