SAN DIEGO - San Diego (3-4) dominated over Cal Poly (2-5) on Sunday morning, adding a 4-0 victory to their record.
Their successful day began during doubles play, as Nicole Anderson and Daniela Morales, and Gemma Garcia and Carolin Nonnenmacher each won their sets, to earn the doubles point, and put them up 1-0.
It did not take long for USD to continue their domination in singles play. Morales quickly defeated her opponent, 6-2, 6-2. Shortly after, Anderson claimed victory, 6-3, 6-0. Finally, Garcia recorded a win against her opponent, 6-2, 6-1, securing the Toreros' win, 4-0.
USD will take some time off to practice before they host their first WCC match of the season against Santa Clara on March 2nd at 1:30 p.m. PT.
