Lamkin SD Classic Day One 
CHULA VISTA â€" The USD men's golf team is co-hosting the 2018 Lamkin San Diego Classic with San Diego State University at the San Diego Country Club (par 72, yardage 7,033). With sixteen teams competing the day was completed with all teams finishing two rounds. The clubhouse leader is No. 1 ranked Oklahoma State with a 23-under par total of 553. The individual leader in Fredrik Nilehn of Texas Tech who sits at 9-under par 135 (69-66). He aced the 158 yard 11th hole in the first round.
USD's top finisher through two rounds is Dalton Hankamer who is tied for 19th at 143 (71-72). He is followed by closely by teammate Tyler Gulliksen (T22 at 144, 74-70). Rounding out Torero scoring was Daniel Lopez (T43 at 147, 75-72), Alvaro Escalada (94th at 158, 79-79) and Camilo Mexsen (96th at 160, 78-82). Two Toreros competed as individuals â€" Regan Kilpatrick (T87 at 154, 76-78) and Nathan Zhao (93rd at 157, 77-80).
Rounding out the top-three behind Oklahoma State is San Diego State (2nd at 570, -6) and North Carolina (3rd at 572, -4). Chasing Nilehn is PJ Samiere of SDSU (-8 at 136, 67-69), Riley Elmes of LMU (-7 at 137, 68-69) and Oklahoma State's Zach Bauchou (-7 at 137, 65-72).
The third and final round will tee off at 8:00 a.m. on both holes one and ten. The tournament is free to the public.
