April 19, 2018 SAN DIEGO - The San Diego women's rowing team is on the road this weekend to compete at the Ohio State double dual.
No. 19 Duke, No. 15 Michigan State and Notre Dame are attending the No 4. Ohio State hosted races on the Griggs Reservoir.
USD is sending their varsity and second varsity eights to the one-day double header.
San Diego's 2V8+ is scheduled to race down lane three against Duke and MSU at 10:20 a.m. Stroking for the Toreros is Chloe Williams, followed by Sam Ahlman in seven-seat, Courtney Cureton in six-seat, Kelly Hulsing in five-seat, Jane Bird in four-seat, Kathryn Brady in three-seat, Dory Goodrich in two-seat, Gillian Duncan in bow and coxswain Hailey Freitag.
The V8+'s first race begins at 10:40 a.m. They also race down lane three against MSU and Duke. Sarah Goh will cox the crew of Isla Blake, Kadee Sylla, Lizzie Bader, Saskia Schneider, Nikki Moore, Clare Adams and Kira McPolin.
In the afternoon, the same crews race in lane three against MSU and Notre Dame. The 2V8+ will race at 2:20 p.m. followed by the V8+ at 2:40 p.m.
