SAN DIEGO –
Milan Moses scored her first hat trick as a Torero to lead San Diego to a convincing 3-1 victory against Cal State Fullerton Friday night at Torero Stadium.

It was an impressive night by the red-shirt junior who led the team with six shots and three on goal. Moses now leads the team with seven goals and 16 points.

The Toreros (4-3-1) defense played well, limiting the Titans (3-6-1) to one goal.
Amber Michel continued her solid play in goal to recording eight saves while facing 16 shots.

Cal State Fullerton was on the board first in the 21st minute. Sarah Davidson had the assist with a corner kick to Haley Brown who finished it off with a header to the left side.

Moses responded quickly scoring a goal two minutes later off a penalty kick, to tie up the match. She shot to the left side just out of reach for the Titan's goalkeeper.

Moses struck again with the help of
Lauren Foehr, three minutes out from the half. Foehr set up Moses with a pass between two defenders. Cal State Fullerton's Tianna Sanders came out of the goalie box to stop Moses, but she kicked passed the goalkeeper in the one-on-one match up.

The final goal of the match came in the 69th minute.
Emma Barrow popped the ball over a defender to Moses, who shot to the right post from 10 yards out to score.

USD's defense did the rest and stayed compact and organized to limit Cal State Fullerton's attack and secure the victory.

The win is the third in a row at home for USD this season.

The Toreros will look to continue their momentum in their next match on Sunday at 1 p.m. (PT) when they travel to UC Irvine.
