COACH GUARINO'S TAKE
"The team developed a consistency in their training back at home, and I was glad to see them unfold with the same mindset in a large race. Having a big field can be intimidating for anyone, and I felt that the team handled both the course and the field well. This is the reason why we came here, we came to compete and this now prepares us for our next race and ultimately for our championship segment. "
The Toreros will compete at the Highlander Invitational on Oct. 13 at UC Riverside, which is a traditionally fast course.
